The house itself
Two stars, and a staircase people photograph.
You are booking at twenty dinars, so you expect a box with a bed in it. What is actually there: moulded plaster the length of the stairwell, a lobby with chairs in it, and a room in olive green with brass light and its own bathroom. Sixteen of them, and a desk that answers at three in the morning.
